PPPM consulting is a sole proprietorship whose primary resource is Mark Engelhardt.

Mark has been actively practicing management for over 35 years in a wide variety of scenarios. He has been actively practicing Project Management for over 25 years, and has been an active Business Analyst, Consultant, Trainer, Coach and Public Speaker for over 21 years.

As the name of the company already indicates, Mark's passion is any and everything to do with “tough jobs”; usually in the form of project, start-ups, programs and project portfolios. He sees himself as a blend of servant-leader, master-facilitator, voice-of-reason, crusader for wildly important goals, the courageous “Inspector Columbo”, master motivator and innovative, pragmatic “Project-Cowboy” that knows how to get the job done.

He is adamantly dedicated to continued learning, and through his many years of varied projects has a very broad knowledge base. He makes it his mission to convert business theory into a pragmatic user-friendly practice. He despises when fundamental business concepts are conveyed in a haughty and complex fashion.

Mark is a dual national (US/EU) and is fortunate to have lived in over 11 countries, traveled, and worked in over 50 countries. This has given him a very deep appreciation for, and insight into wide array of cultures. His primary area of work is EMEA, but has he also worked beyond. He is fluent in English and German.
